Strange picture but, New haircut for the New Year!Resolutions??? What is there to change? Life has been great! So many new ideas and new opportunities! To start off I'm teaching an intro class, which is going to be a lot of fun. I'm in the process of making a lesson plan. This is part of my dream of running my own school! So this will be a nice experience.
Oliver and I are going to try and travel more... Not just in Cali. We want to see Las Vegas and Los Angelas, and hopefully a few places outside of the States. It should be fun. Our next trip is back to SanFran to hang out with our dear friend Rachel. She is so sweet and she can drink like crazy. We are going to see her and hopefully check out the mall area for some garlic fries. Oliver and I have also been catching up on "How I Met your Mother", "30 Rock", and "Arrested Development" It's been good times watching those.
I'm also a part of a group project that is being put together by some VisDev kids. Hopefully we'll have a name soon. Our goal is to have a book and a gallery show in SanFran in the end of the semester. It's going to be off the hook. We are still in the preliminaries but if we are organized we will be able to do so much! We plan on fundraising, we are going to be divided in committiees, make merchandise, we get to do what we want!!! It's going to be great!
I think my co-worker and I may try and do a project together as well. We haven't really discussed to much of it, but I hope we can talk about that soon. It'll be a collaborative project and hopefully we'll be able to make something out of it.
As for myself I have an idea of a story I want to write and hopefully when the story is done I'll be designing my own character, environments, and story moments. I want this idea to be for my "thesis". Part of my requirements is to have a gallery show. I figured this would be cool. I also hope that this year I'll have a portfolio put together, I should have enough work to show at this point.
Sounds ambitous, but I'm excited for this to happen. 2009 was a great motivator and I'm for sure going to continue to 2010. Stay tuned!
