San Francisco was a lot of fun. I saw crazy people left and right, everyone making noise. There is just so much life. It was a half hour till midnight and we rushed to the BART station. We got to the stop we wanted 2 minutes till. By the time we got out and was on the street with the rest of the San Francisco population it was New Years. It's sooooo lovely to hear the crowd so excited. Then the fireworks started. The spot we found was perfect we because it wasn't crowded. We got hugged by a stranger (non-sketchy drunk asian american lady) and was later on was screamed at "20 days.... till.... OBAMA!!!" I was really hoping he would say something bazaar but I was surprised at his answer anyway and cheered. Sirens from ambulance zoomed through the streets. And police lined up along the sides. They confiscated Oliver's champagne which was funny because it was just sooo... nonchalant. It was like... a frat boy passing on a drink to his conrad. At the end we journeyed back to Rachel's apartment. I fell asleep first. Then Rachel, Oliver, and lastly Anjuna.
As for Resolutions? I believe there are things I can work on this year.
- Sing more (since moving out here I have stopped singing)
- Do something different each month (I would like to try hiking)
- See more movies
- Be better at saving money (starting today)
- Buy things that aren't useless
- Draw & Paint better
- Dance, take a speech class, and learn etiquette
- Sketch more!!! (I suck)
- Eat more!!! (I'm way too unhealthy)
- Where more colors (my closet consists of black)
- Pale pink, teal, tiffany blue, grey, brown, white, silver, ivory white
